Stevie
I agree with you. The ribbed/accordion straps never ever appealed to me one bit.
Try a Hirsch Kevlar. 25 bucks i think and water resistant.
A good site to check out is watchprince.com. I've bought from them and they are great.

Steve - I saw a Dracula on a black NATO with red striping that looked awesome! Odd thing was the striping was off center intentionally to one side of the strap and of varying thicknesses. Really looked good.

I just saw this thread, congratulations! I hope I'm not the next one that falls for that watch.

There's also a couple of Aussie eBay traders who have a good range of bracelets and straps as well.

I noticed the watch has been supplied with real hefty springbars. If you are thinking NATO, don't go for the thick ones as you may not be able to force them around the lugs.
Changing straps/bracelets is a breeze because of the drilled lugs.

I can't get into the Nato much. But the red looks good.

Congrats on the Monster. I don't like the ribbing on that factory strap either.

Yes that looks cool Roger.
There's a trader on eBay selling a SS 20mm 'Shark' mesh bracelet which he claims will suit an Omega or a Seiko Monster. I wonder if anyone here has a link mesh bracelet and how good they are?

I've just ordered a SS bracelet! I can't help it. My wife thinks I'm insane.
I'll do photos as soon as I receive it.

The monster bracelet rocks - I can't blame you. My "engineer bracelet" for my Monster Mod is pretty damn comfortable too.
