I want a black dial dive watch, but can't afford to spend thousands, and I already have the coolest Seiko diver out there, so I went Swiss quartz. I found something really special, I think, and it will arrive Monday, or so. Stay tuned.....

Oh wow, I can't wait to see what it is, any clues? My guess is Tag or Tissot.

That is it. There is a video review of it, and it really does look stunning. I like everything about it. That is a whole lot of watch for the money....

I will have to find the review but cannot wait to see wrist shots of it. I saw a while ago the one they did that looked like the Aerospace and it was beautifully finished I remember, this looks the same and of course being Ti it will be light as a feather, well done Kat!

Well, I have to add my , Kat! I just took a look at this video: Love the look of the watch, and as time goes by, I am even becoming more fond of quartz watches. I really like that this watch has a Ti bezel as well. I'm really a skeptic when it comes to the newer ceramic bezels. Great in the looks department, but I would always be afraid of the ceramic shattering. But that's just me. It reminds me in a way of the slightly older Breitling SuperOcean models. I had one for about 10 years. It even has the rider tabs on the bezel, like the Breitling did, and the Avenger series now does. The Ti will look great as it ages over the years. I have seen a couple of older Breitling Seawolf watches, a bit scratched up, but they really look lovely to me. I even like how they did the date window. I wonder if the bracelet links are pins or screws? Looking forward to hearing about it and seeing pics when you get it. Cheers, Carl

Very NICE Kat! I have been eyeing their auto divers for quite a while. I even tried on the red dial version at a shop here in town one day. The curved lugs hugged the wrist nicely. Can't wait for the wrist shot!

Thanks, guys. I really like it, too. I go through a whole process, when I want a particular type watch. I see a rough sketch in my mind's eye, and then search for something that fits that vision. In this case, I wanted a black dial diver, that is large, impressive on the wrist, but classy looking, too. Finding the right watch, and one that fits into my budget, is always a challenge. I love my Titanium Aerospace, so know what to expect. I also considered the Seiko Shogun, and a Wenger diver, but this one won out. I own half a dozen Seikos, and the hands on the Shogun are nearly identical to my OM. As silly as it may sound, I want my OM to be my top dog Seiko.....What really stood out, about the Divemaster, is it's classic understated elegant aesthetics. The newest models are flashier, and a bit overdone, perhaps. I'm hoping it arrives on Monday.
