I'm not fond of everything they make, but it IS a great brand imo. Further more, watchanish is a great site for fashion and watches.

Thanks for the link, Henrik Audemars Piguet is quite the watch company! I would have to get used to wearing larger watches again to consider one but if the chance ever came up, it would be taken!

I hear you. I'm beginning to like smaller watches too . . . 40mm is enough for me. And if it is a dress watch, down to 36mm will do. Its all about comfort I think.

For sure, my logic is if I spend this much on a watch it should look good with all of the clothes I wear be it a suit, casual shirt or t-shirt and flip flops on the beach. Having owned a 42 mm (Fortis B-42 Cosmonaut) and 45.5mm (Omega Seamsster Planet Ocean) I know it can be pulled off by me (or most men) but now prefer the same sizes you mention over all.
I find when the watches do not sit as high on the wrist for me, or the bracelet is not as chunky it can be more of a pleasure to wear for extended periods of time. Not all AP watches seem to be gigantic like a few I've seen.
A lot of it seems to be in the watch design as well. Some pieces "appear" larger than others that actually are in terms of measurements. Most companies seem to be making them on the larger side now for the sport models.

Too many other celebrities wear or endorse this fine brand!
