At the request of several members, I have taken some close ups of my new blue dial Sinn diver. The specs on this piece are ridiculous. Sinn is known for its innovative technology, especially in its divers, and the U series utilizes most of them. Note the 2000 m dive rating. Holy mackerel! I'm ready for anything, with this baby. It's also antimagnetic, anti-moisture, and is built from U-Boat submarine steel. Then there is the extra case hardening which, from my reading, actually works. On this model, the bezel is tegimented, making an already robust watch virtually scratch proof. The finish on the watch is a brushed satin, and the dial, upon closer examination, seems to have a slight pearlized effect. In the manual, it states it is a matte blue galvanized dial. I love the blue and white color scheme, with just a hint of red on the bezel, do to Sinn's usual dive bezel color scheme. The watch is a SE, and ,now, no longer available. It came standard with the rubber dive strap, and signed buckle blue and white NATO. I ordered the bracelet separately. I'm so glad I did, as I think it looks best, on me, on it's dedicated SS bracelet. BTW, Sinn now uses hex screws, and includes 2 little hex wrenches, in order to size the bracelet, along with their Sinn double sided screw driver. What a great little piece of German engineering...... Oh, I forgot to mention that it houses an ETA 2824-2 movement. You goes probably want to know that...... Kat

Very nice Kat, looks great on the bracelet :-) Sounds like those Germans think if everything with the tools included, nice touch. The finish on the steel goes well with the blue & white combo. I'm sure it's gonna up the top of your list for wrist time lol. Enjoy & great pics :-)

Unbelievable Kat, it makes me wonder why the heck Rolex doesn't have specs like there. It's a beautiful watch and honestly it's not too small for you. I like it on this bracelet a lot and that's strange since I'm a Rolex guy. Thanks for posting these pictures and wear that baby in good health.

I really like that Kat and I love that it is not uber big. I reckon its in perfect proportion and I love that you have three straps to play with depending on mood and season. Thats one heck of a lot of watch for the money!

It is a lot of watch, Ian, considering the specs, but a fair amount of money, too. I suppose, though, were it Swiss, with a Manufacture movement, it would cost a fortune, so a good deal, all in all. The German watchmakers produce some unbelievable products, and apparently, I'm drawn to their very clean aesthetic, as I now own a growing German collection. I'm not sure if I've mentioned that the case diameter is 37mm, and the bracelet has an 18 mm lug width. I'm not positive, but I think I've accidentally bought a girl's watch....

Congratulations again, Kat! This watch is quite nice. Loving the packaging it came with, the side profile and that caseback looks VERY comfortable. German engineered, indeed! The watch over all seems well thought out in terms of design and looks fantastic.

I really like it on the bracelet. I think it's better proportioned that way. The dial color is stunning and the bezels on the Sinns are a piece of functional art. And in this case tergmented too! Well played Kat.

Congrats Kat ! Looks Great. I knew YOU would like it, Chris.... If it were bigger, I could picture it in your stable, as we seem to both be attracted to really hardy tool watches. I've been eyeing your Doxa, and Kobold models, for years, but ....fear both are just too large, for me.... I.m such a dude, sometimes..... This suits me well. It's got real weight to it, and certainly has wrist presence....

Congratulations on becoming a Sinner. I almost picked up a T1 just before Christmas and I'm sure I'll add one to go with my 857UTC in the future. Sinns are superbly made watches and every collector should have one in their stable.
