I showed a picture earlier of the blue/blue but i prefer (with the photos so far) that black and blue Roger, Thats a really great shot of it! For me I keep seeing black and black with one of those nice worn looking straps or NATO's, give it that vintage vibe even more. Crazy good price for the quality!

The blue/blue looks really nice too. If I were to go for one of these I'd have a hard time deciding.

yeah, I need to see a really good shot of the blue ceramic. I am not keen on the blue they use on the Omega and Rolex White gold sub, it looks a bit washed out to my eyes. Hopefully this blue is a bit deeper.

I think I made a good choice, for me. There are so many black on black subs out there, and for good reason. It's a really classic look. The black on blue will make mine stand out, and since I spend 90% of my time in jeans, it's a no-brainier. I think the pic Roger found is from an older run. My dial is a darker blue, as seen in my pic. Dan is posting it today, so I hope to have it by the end of next week, barring any Customs craziness .....

Nice - lower left! katgirl I like that he's done luminous bezels too. I really loved that on my Helson along with the larger sword hands. I'm really looking forward to the incoming on this one. It's a very nice looking piece and you can tell he put a lot of thought into the design. The new movement intrigues me too and am interested to learn more about its accuracy and if independent watchmakers are trained and ready to service them.

I really like that a lot! At first sight, my reaction was the case from an older model Rolex Sub, and a Tudor Snowflake dial. Very nice look. I would just be a bit concerned about the servicing of that new movement is all. That vintage model without date he has is the one I would have my eye on, I think. I really like his logo as well, especially with the touch of orange. It just adds a bit more interest to the dial. Like your choice of blue/black combo as well. I really wonder, even with low overhead costs, how he manages to keep those prices down. Very interested to see you pics when you receive the watch. Cheers Carl

The serving of the movement would be no problem Carl. They are not intricate movements. Any competent watchmaker should be able to give those a service!

Just checked Australia Post tracking, and Dan did send my watch, via EMS, yesterday morning, as he promised he would. It is officially on its way. ETA is 3-5 working days, so I should have it by the end of next week. I have to pick up a # 6 torx screw driver to size the bracelet....

Watching the video again on Steve's incoming thread I saw an all blue vintage Tudor and must say the all blue on a NATO looked pretty stunning!

I have found that I like color breaks on sporty watches. It tends to small it up a bit, which is good for me. Having never seen one of these, IRL, I had to make an executive decision. I have so many all black watches, and so chose the midnight blue dial with the black bezel. If you look at the group of watches in the pic above , you can see they are mostly black on black, and mine does stand out. I think I made the right choice. We shall see...
