Thanks! I can't wait for it to arrive! Also, now I have to pick out a Seiko to get later down. Any suggestions? I'm having a hard time finding one.

I'm going to have a look at some of those a bit later. There's something so special about a Seiko. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy I pulled the trigger on this Orient but the whole WIS thing kicks in and yeah. Oh, check this out:

You can get one for around 250 on amazon. It is bulletproof and no WIS is complete without one.

It looks like I'm going to start collecting dive watches. I like the idea of having a Doxa but I'm yet to see one that would look really good on my wrist. A part of me also wants one of those Seiko automatics with the clear caseback. The way they look because of the crystals: Images from watchuseek.com Damn... That with the Orient, my G-Shock, the Explorer II and a GMT and I'm set for anything, anywhere. The G-Shock seems ideal for my weekly swims at the recreation complex because I just lather it with hand soap in the shower after and it's clean. Same with a metal watch but I find the soap film builds up over time and as you all know I'm obsessed with keeping my watches super clean. Suspending the bracelet into my sonic cleaner is a quick fix, followed by some watch spray. Congrats Rommel!!! That's a great looking piece. Can't wait to see a wrist pic Thanks, Robb! Those will follow very soon. I hope it comes on the first or second of April. I guess the anticipation is all part of the fun too! I'm so glad that guy was wearing his for me to be introduced to this amazing watch.

Oh man, I spent some time looking for more pictures on Google and had to share. They have another very nice dive watch too: Best of all, here is the same black dial, black bezel one I ordered on a strap: From - uhrforum.de

Can't wait to,see real life photos of that pretty blue diver. I have never owned an Orient. I will be interested to hear your thoughts on the quality, because the price is awesome. As for what Seiko diver to buy, you have to get the Monster. There is just something so cool about it. I love my orange one.

When it comes I may even end up making a short review of the watch just for the fun of it. I'll try get my hands on a proper camera for some of the shots too but we shall see. I never realized this until after, but I ended up getting the black one. I wanted the Blue but all happens for a reason I guess, either one seems like a great choice. So excited for it to arrive! From - orientwatchusa.com The Monster certainly does seem like the way to go for a Seiko. In my opinion they're the ideal divers watches. I'll try not to baby the Orient too much but that will be a tough habit to break. For me the Monster would for sure be the Orange as well. It's so different to anything else out there it seems.

Thanks, Carl! Now I see what Ian was going through. You look at a watch, which leads you to look at 2 others and so on. In the end there's a bunch of them you want. This was long overdue, indeed! It gives me more options and I always wanted something in this range with these features. Quartz is ok but with the Raymond Weil being Quartz it had to be an automatic. Pick it up, set the time and it's good to go. The watch is shipping from Miami, Florida. It should clear customs without too many delays and hopefully be here by this time next week. Even if it did arrive on April 7th, all is well. I'm so anxious to size the bracelet and try it out! You can count on the fact that pictures will be posted.

Nice pick up Rommel! I saw the start of the threads when you were asking questions about it, but had no idea you pulled the trigger. Most excellent. Looking forward to the wrist shots and opinion on it once you get some face time with it.

I had no idea this was going to happen either. I did ask the guy where the AD was here. He told me the different places I could order it from but I just went to eBay and found this seller. What's messed up was I had a dream the night before about having a dive watch on my wrist. Came on the forum a bit later that day to this topic as the eBay listing was in another window still and clicked buy it now. One thing that's going to be fantastic is the fact it has solid links on the bracelet.

Get a Monster in another color for variety. The new movement hack and I love the knurled crown - very easy to grip. The bezel is buttery smooth - seriously the best of any watch I've ever owned.
