Thanks, guys. I'm having difficulty imagining the original owner thinking it was too fancy......maybe he meant the ceramic bezel? Anyway, it is clearly a tool watch, in every sense. BTW when I put the two watches side by side, the logos are slightly different. I will post a pic of both together, later, after I have had more coffee. I have my little preemie princess granddaughter, Guinney, with me, and she does not sleep through the night..... She is 3 1/2 mos. old, but if we adjust for her gestational age at birth, she is a typical 6 week old, though on a heart and breathing monitor. Good thing Granny is a Nurse...

An update on my OWCs. I have been checking their accuracy, and am happy to report that my Snowflake is running at +4/day, and the Vintage sub at +3/ day. So both are within COSC specs, though they are not certified chronometers. Very impressive. I believe Dan's watchmaker individually tests and adjusts each movement either before or after casing them. I much prefer they be slightly fast, than slightly slow, so, I am very pleased.
