I am back to OWC sub # 2, the 5517 homage. Interestingly, I am just now figuring out the timeless appeal of this design, and why the original is so highly sought by serious collectors with big bank accounts. It is super cool, and I think I prefer it to the snowflake. Weird, since I could have chosen it, in the first place. No matter. Now I have both..... Kat

Kat I think you have the best of both - snowflake and sword hands. I'm glad to see them making a comeback in modern watches.

I have to hand it to my daughter-in-law, Laura, who is married to my oldest son. She had the cojones to pick out a watch for me, for my Birthday, and it arrived in the mail today. I am usually not one for fashion watches, bet something about this Monster speaks to me. It is Swiss, by a company I don't know: Mulco, and it's a chronograph. The company logo is a 4 leaf clover, which speaks to my Irish heritage. Check this out: The strap is rubber, and has the clover etched into it. What a fun watch...... Kat

I like the two tone case and dial. Very unique. Looking at their webpage, it looks like a 47mm diameter with a blue silicon strap. I would have guessed that the 47mm would have looked huge on you, but not at all. Well played Laura!
