I really like those and picking between silver dial blue hand it black dial red hand would be a tough choice. 40 mm, 36000 bph and a proper jumping GMT hour hand, hand made... What's not to like? www.ablogtowatch.com/grand-seiko-hi-beat-36000-gmt-watch-hands/To be honest, if the name is not an issue for you, I almost dare to call this not a bad value. Having tried on a few Grand Seiko's I would agree as well that they represent very good value compared to the Swiss alternatives. Better than COSC accuracy, build quality second to none and a stealth name for which only those in the know would understand what they are seeing which in this economic climate is not a bad thing if your in business bidding for contracts!
I really want to own a GS one day but for me it would have to be one of their HEQ quartz movements, cutting edge technology which the Japanese are justly famous for.

Love the white one. The texture on the white dial and the blue hand really sing to my tastes.

I'll have to see if the AD by the house has one. The blue hand is really nice.

The texture of that White / Grey dial certainly is unique. It would be a tough one trying to decide between these it seems.

I'm thinking an AD would probably go down to 5500? 3.5 to 4 for preowned?

Yeah, I'd want a big discount or wait patiently to find a LNIB resale. $7k is too much for me.

Would you pay 7k for one? Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk Pro Hmm...no If it was a known swiss brand, would you pay that? That would be my main struggle. Similar to if you had a hundred grand, would you buy a Porsche 911 or a Nissan GTR? Tough choice. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk Pro
