I'm not sure if a watch costing me just over $500 is frugal, it isn't frugal to me as for the past 4 years or so I have backed off buying watches over $500 as my wife has an addiction to annual cruising which precludes me from adding high quality watches to my collection which is now very minimal. Wife is actually becoming bored with cruising ( whoopee!). The truth is that I have missed a nice decent automatic watch. I love the heft and especially a diver with adequate water resistance. Most are outside my budget until I hit on exploring the micro brands. I have owned Rolex, Breitling and Omega and I have been looking for something more original and not likely to be worn by a car salesman or a politician likes of which we have in my country. Well guys I pulled the trigger on one of these so called micro brands and I am patiently waiting its arrival at my door any day now. It has travelled a long way from the other side of the planet, so I hope it gets here safely. Cheers

You know Stevie... You have to tell us more than "just a micro brand". That's not enough for us to guess lol. More hints please. Glad to hear from you buddy.

Excellent - maybe an OWC that seems to get a lot of appreciation here? I was going to say Hamilton at first, but they aren't a micro brand.

No clue Me niether, but I like the vintage feel given by the RR track chapter ring and the fine tipped minute hand.

That part looks a lot like the latest version of the omega dynamic, but that one doesn't have the 300 meters text on the dial

I love the curved lugs of the case, which help tall watches wear better. Looks like it has a luminous acrylic bezel insert and screwed in end links, which made me think Helson, but I've never seen a Helson with the RR track chapter ring and Skelettform style hands. You still got me.

I'm not too sure what type of watch it is exactly. Either way though, from what I've seen so far it seems rather interesting!
