Roger and Chip are both enablers . I have long admired the brand, but I have never really had the chance to see them IRL. Except a couple years ago, when Ian and I went to have a look at one at the only AD we have here in Vancouver. I really loved the watch, a Luminor in titanium, but it didn't have an in-house caliber, and I don't like the AD, and I thought it was overpriced. Well, after reading your threads, I started to do some research. I recalled a year or two ago, that Panerai released a new Radiomir model, a little smaller case and a little slimmer as well. The Radiomir is really my favourite of the two. So, I did some research. It's the PAM512, with a 42mm case, and doesn't have the same movement, but the P.999 which is also an inhouse. It's got a 60hr power reserve. I love the dial and lume combo that you guys have, with the golden hue. And, to my surprise, this Radiomir also has that: Anyway, that's the no.1 Panerai on my list. Who knows what 2015 may bring?! Now that I know there is a more than reputable AD in Dallas, I would have no hesitation in ordering a watch from them. Excellent write-up on Hodinkee about the model: www.hodinkee.com/blog/panerai-radiomir-1940-42mm-pam00512-the-panerai-many-were-waiting-forCheers, Carl

That watch would look great on your wrist, Carl! I'm also excited to see what 2015 brings your way!

That's very similar to my all time favorite, the 338 titano. Attachments:

I much prefer the Radiomir as well. Now that there is a smaller size I am quite keen to see one!
