Ok, what watch would you guys buy if I gave you $44,000.00 cash? Help us narrow it down Ron - what do you want from this watch? You have two Subs already. Is this a dress watch? Is there a particular function it has to have OR not have? Metal band vs strap? Metal? Min/max diameter. Dial color (maybe which you don't want). As you well know, there is a lot of personal preference that goes into a choice and it get's tighter as the dollar value goes up for me.

Well, for me personally I would likely leave the Rolex AD with several watches lol. For a precious metal piece from another brand other than the Planet Ocean it would hands down be this: From - ablogtowatch.com From - squarespace.com Endless possibilities with that kind of budget for a single watch though. Different strokes for different folks but for some reason Audemars Piguet has been "calling" me if you will for some time. Roger getting his and posting images only did me in further. That being said though I'm a sucker for Rolex watches, absolutely love them. Often times I find it hard to want anything else for some reason. No idea what the actual MSRP is on that watch in the images above but as this very moment it would be my choice! Stay tuned, as you may find a few other posts from me with others At least tomorrow you can look at some others in that AD too. It seems as if you've had a desire for that watch for some time so it would take a miracle for something else to make you want it enough to put the Platinum watch on hold.

You would not get that watch for $44,000.00

That's an AMAZING piece but it has an MSRP of $69k and the lowest I've seen it BNIB on the grey market is about $58k - a true grail though. www.audemarspiguet.com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak-offshore/26470OR.OO.1000OR.01

I agree. I never cared for the RO in photos but in person, it won me over.

If I ever get to that price range, I would have to strongly consider the Lange 1 in platinum. You already have a beautiful sub, so this would be a great daily option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
