Welcome to the forum. I can't say I have ever seen a vintage Seiko band like that and I am not familiar with the marking on Seiko bands either. Looking at my Seiko Monster band, the only place it says Seiko is on the outside of the clasp. Otherwise there are some numerical identifiers on the inside. Sorry, I know that's not really any help, but maybe someone else here will know more.

Sadly I'm not of much help here but couldn't resist commenting on what a nice watch that is you have there! Hopefully someone form the forum will be able to figure this one out. As a watch lover I totally understand wanting to keep things 100% original or only "Authentic" parts. For what it's worth the bracelet looks great on that watch and I hope you'll be able to get the answer you're looking for.

I know this is work for a true detective!! HAhaha! Thanks for the comments guys! It is unbelievable that this Seiko survived all this years. It accompanied my father traveling around the world as a journalist for "Jornal do Brasil". It was around the 70s and 80's, by plain and ship. He went to Portugal, England, Jamaica, USA, South & North Africa and many other places.
Now after 5 years away from home I came back for a well deserved vacation at Rio. Was really not expecting this amazing piece as a present from him. It's working like new! And must be at least 45 years old. Will certainly be on my wrist everyday from now on.

That's a great piece of family history to hold onto. I have my great grandfather's Elgin pocket watch. When I got it from my mother, it was running but I still sent it off to my watchmaker to have it serviced because I knew no one had touched it in at least 40 years. He found several broken jewels and had to buy a donor movement for replacements, but now it's cleaned up and he provided a full photo history of the service that I can pass on to the next generation one day.

Those are both amazing stories. I think a watch is indeed one of the best items to pass on. Sentimental value of a watch that was given to you as a gift is tremendous.
At the same time I'm certainly not shocked this Seiko survived all of that. Certainly one of my favourite brands and extremely well made. Vintage Seiko's have a very nice appeal too.

Great watch indeed! Sorry, I cannot tell you either about the band, whether original Seiko or not. However, if it makes you feel any better, in my opinion it looks perfect on the watch. Fits beautifully, and looks like it was made for it, and indeed aged with the watch.
Such a beautiful watch!! And story as well. Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy it here and will post more.
cheers, Carl

I am happy at least I know it. In the future I will fix this, change the clasp or the band. But for the present moment, just gona relax about it

Awesome! It'll be fun hunting down the original end links and clasp. For the clasp it'll get scratched up anyway so using this one for the time being is ideal. Continue to enjoy this wonderful watch for many years to come!
