Saw this on watchville and thought it would be fun to ask the forum, what watch do you most regret selling? Feel free to name some honorable mentions as well

Probably the Speedmaster, but mostly because the reason why I had to sell it just sucked. It was money thrown into the trash.

16610LV. I don't regret selling it, but it's the one I most regret selling. It was a perfect watch going up in value.

Oh yeah. I forgot about my 16610LV. I sold that to partially fund the PAM422, then I sold the 422 at a major loss a couple of weeks ago.
While I understand there are always risks, that one hurt a lot.
So yeah. Not that I miss that watch terribly, but I was 4500 in it and that's most certainly not what the go for today. Mine was mint too.

That omega is definitely a stunner, but for the AP, I don't think I would be too upset about it. For me, I buy and sell constantly since I am in the industry, but honestly, I can't stop thinking about the Yachtmaster 16622.. I made profit off of the deal (bought from a customer) but I miss it, it's weird because I did not even like it that much up front, but ever since its been gone I've thought about it. I am much too young to own a piece like that anyways

No regrets here, thankfully! That's not entirely true BUT the watch I did really want back I ended up purchasing again (Raymond Weil W1 Parsifal seen below). The only other watches I've sold are shown in these images below: The Bond Seamaster was also kind of replaced by the Chronograph version purchased a few months ago. My only regret for the Plant Ocean was not keeping it until now to flip it based on the unexpected value increase! Keeping in mind that the Planet Ocean sale made it possible for me to snipe an Explorer II in 2010 at a great price makes me care a whole lot less! Great idea for a topic by the way!

I miss my Blancpain Trilogy GMT too but do not regret selling it as the service department was horrible.

I'm on the never ending cycle of selling and re-buying the exact same watches

The only one two I have any regrets at all about are my 36mm Rolex Explorer I. And my 36mm Omega Railmaster. Perhaps the Railmaster even a bit more, as the midsize 36mm model is very scarce at the moment. Although the Rolex had a standard steel case back, which I prefer, and the Railmaster had an exhibition case back. Oddly enough, one of the reasons I did sell it. Not really into exhibition case backs at all.

Regret selling my Sea Dweller Deep Sea only because I could have gotten a hell of a lot more money for it. That will be one of the watches I never liked.

I don't like it a lot in black, but I like it with the blue dial. Have to agree, Chip. Normally, a way too big and chunky watch for my taste. But it is what it is for a reason. And I think that dial is an absolute masterpiece, and would likely be the one reason I would get this model over the Sea-Dweller 4000. That is, if I can ever afford either one.
