I don't know why it looks so big on my wrist in this picture, must be the angle The further away you are, and the longer the focal length, the more slimmer and pleasing the outlook. When you shoot from a short distance with a wide angle lens, such as a range from 8 to 50mm, the lens has to stretch what it's seeing to fill the image. Long lens will compress.

Well, not exactly on my wrist today. But in my dreams. Circa2010, my first Explorer 1 36mm: I actually came across these old photos in Google images tonight. Doing a search for "Explorer 1" photos.
