I just wanted to say Hi, and was wondering if any wood watch lovers out there. If so what is your favorite brand and why. The startups in this industry are numerous, so it is hard to sift through them all.

I have a friend who was looking at them last year, but all he found was basically what I’ll call fashion watches - decent looking with cheap quartz movements. Have you found anything nicer? Roger

Here's a link to a local Vancouver company called Tense. At the print shop I work at, we did some catalogs for them last year, and they look pretty nice. They have a Miyota quartz movement in all the models. I am not a fan of quartz movements, as the second hand is usually way off hitting the markers, and the hand tends to vibrate a lot as well. I would also be interested in seeing some with higher end movements, but all the brands I have seen so far don't quite do the trick for me. tensewatch.ca/

Their squar Bill & Ross style version is pretty unique too. Well played Tense.
