Timeless is very proud to announce our latest limited edition, and very first collaboration with Oris, the Timeless Sixty-Five! This new limited edition of 100 pieces was designed with the goal of producing what is, in our view, the perfect Oris Divers Sixty-Five!
The Timeless Sixty-Five is also the first time we’ve worked with bronze, although we did it in a fairly subtle way. We adopted the bronze bezel of a few other Oris Sixty-Fives because it contrasts so nicely with our new green dial. At 40mm, the new LE shows a degree of restraint given the massive diver watches that have become altogether too commonplace.
The most significant change we made to the Timeless Sixty-Five is, as usual, the removal of the date. I think that this change alone justifies the existence of this limited edition. Without a date in the way, the new Sixty-Five looks more purposeful and legible.
There’s a lot more going on, however, than getting rid of the date. Most notably, we’ve designed a unique green dial with a dark, grainy appearance. The markers are unique to our Sixty-Five as well, having been borrowed from the Brashear limited edition with a couple of tweaks. For instance, with no date at 6:00, we’ve added a vertical marker, and replaced the bronze-colored lume with white.
Here’s a look at the Timeless Sixty-Five at night. This view really highlights that additional 6:00 marker where the date used to be.
While the brown leather strap looks great on the new limited edition, we wanted this watch to actually see action, so we’ve included this Oris tropical rubber strap.

That is really a great design. I already like the Oris Divers 65, and have owned one for a couple of years. The green dial is beautiful in real life. Without the date, this is a winner, I think. The bronze looks great with the dial markers.
I guess you can't please everyone, though. Since Oris has introduced some of the models in 36mm, when I saw the first photo I was hoping it would be 36mm. Still, I think this is a wise decision at this size, it will appeal to more people.
After I got mine, I bought the rivet bracelet separately. Being for the 40mm case, it should fit perfectly as well as the two straps, which are excellent choices.
Glad to see it has a solid case back!
Cheers, Carl

I'm really starting to notice more of the details you guys have put into this piece. The marker at 12 o'clock is triangular, like on the Charles Brashear Chronograph LE, rather than the usual marker at 12 (I don't know the name but it kind of looks like a shield). And all the markers have a gold border, like on the LE Movember model. And the bronze border on the bezel is excellent. Having no date really gives the dial a lot more symmetry. I never was a fan of the cut-off marker at six o'clock below the date window.
Really a unique and personalized piece indeed. Obviously a lot of thought went into this one.
Well done!

Thanks guys!
Yes, the no date element was really (oddly enough) the heart of the piece. The 65 is a super popular watch, but I've never felt that the date was necessary or even integrated all that well. I think it could be improved, but given the TLW approach of just removing things lol, we opted just to get rid of it.
The hour markers are borrowed from the Brashear LE, but they look different because we used white lume in them. The only major difference is the 6:00 marker, since that's where the date is on the Brashear.
A lot of the later work in the watch was balancing the green and bronze elements. These colors, we find, kind of amplify each other by contrast, so we definitely wanted them, but we also had to figure out how to minimize them so it didn't become overpowering. Ultimately, that meant using a bronze bezel instead of bronze case (and that would have been tricky for other reasons anyway), using a very dark, subdued green, and alternating the bronze-colored elements on the dial. This way you don't get any huge amount of bronze all in one place, it's spread throughout the face incrementally.

It looks great, you guys did it right. Again.
My only wish is that it came with an ETA movement, but that’s likely an easy swap if the owner decides to do so.
It’s not something I’d do right away, but I’d be tempted after the warranty runs out.

Thanks guys! If I had it my way I'd have popped a 9S85 in there lol, but alas, watch manufacturing couldn't accommodate me.

I don't normally go for the green dial, but this one makes it look good.
