Not feeling these. The thick rounded cases and dial texture seem off to me in the photos.

Not feeling these. The thick rounded cases and dial texture seem off to me in the photos. The case looks like the standard case they use, and the dial is likely a result of light bouncing off it in odd ways. Like any GS, you have to see one in person before you really know. I’m not in a market for anything at the moment, but I can’t wait to see one in real life. I don’t love it in photos, but I might IRL.

Every Seiko dial looks better in the flesh than it does in pictures. They can’t even take pictures that do their dials justice.

Every Seiko dial looks better in the flesh than it does in pictures. They can’t even take pictures that do their dials justice. Very few can. There is one guy on IG that’s outstanding at it though, I can’t remember his name.

I haven't seen them in person, but I think they just look super different in different lighting. The brighter, more direct the light, the more vibrant it'll look with the patterns being really visible, but in flat, indirect lighting it appears to really get toned down. Just my observation from Mike's photos.
