... when they marked the minute subdial on the AT chrono in 2.5 minutes increments? While I have developed a super sophisticated system of reading the correct elapsed time by now, why.. oh why... did they do that??? What is wrong with whole minute increments? You know that watch will never be allowed near a space mission. LOL

My Breguet was goofy like that too. I think mine was designe for timing search patterns or something. Anyway, it makes it not particularly useful, IMO.
BTW, big congrats on the new Speedy Chip!!

that use to really irritate me about my speedmaster day/ date that i used to won.. sometimes form takes priority over function in these designs.. which shouldnt do! speedy pro is a perfect design! still your AT is a beauty to look at chip

Mamas You say that form took priority over function. I honestly prefer the symetric markings of the speedy over the non symetrical AT markings.

The funny part is that I got so used to reading a dial that goes in 2.5 minute increments, that the easy to read Speedy dial which goes in 1 minute increments confuses me LOL How crazy is that.
11:20 AM here in Dallas and I already used the chrono function about 5 times already. I time stuff A LOT while at work.

chip i agree .. prefer the layout dial design of the speedy pro over the speedmaster day / date or the AT chrono..maybe we are in the minority

I train people for a living and when I tell them "Go to this page in your work book, and you have 7 minutes to complete that excercise" I always stick to whatever time I give them. Also, when I give them a 15 minutes break, I ALWAYS forget what time I told them to go break so I use the chrono. Whenever it reaches 15, break is over.
