It disturbs me thinking that this particle can travel my whole dial.. If the dust remain sticky at the same place I would personnally do nothing to it as it is really not so noticable , but if I see that it is moving all around , I would open the watch and blow it out :-) if you have not the required tool to open the watch ask to a watchmaker he should be abble to do that very easely cheers JM

Thanks for answering JM. I will never open that watch on my own, the problem is my old pictures don't show that particle at :10. So i am sure it came from another place. How would Omega react on this? As i would want to have Omega to clean it, the watch is only serviced by Omega in the past.

dont know about that erik.. if it is still under warranty.. whether opening the case will invalidate the warranty?? maybe someone more knowledgable can answer this?

If it's under warranty, don't open the case yourself. If you break the little red dot on the case back, I believe that will void your warranty. Take it to an authorized Omega service center. If it's out of warranty, you could do it yourself in 5 minutes.

It is still in warranty, do you think my case is strong enough that they will fix it?

There isn't much that Omega won't do for you if the watch is under warranty. If it is not, I would still not open it myself because I am not skilled at it and I would probably damage the gasket or something and compromise the water resistance.
Personally, I would be bugged to no end by a dust particle so I would not mind forking over a few dollars if the watch is out of warranty.

I say if the particle is noticeable to the naked eye then ship it back to Omega and have them remove it, they should do it without any problem. If a watch is still under warranty I would always send it back to Omega, they know what they are doing

I agree with Adam if its really noticable send it in, but if your looking in a loupe to see it forget about it and stop being so darn picky and just enjoy your watch.

Yeah erik,I have to say that would bug me to death. I'm with you on that. Once you know it's there, it would drive me bonkers. That's one reason I don't want to take a loop to my watches. If I don't know it's there, it won't bother me. ;D

I discovered this without a loup, you really see it. I am sure they will fix it without a problem.
