Apple for me too, but I finished work “early” today (5pm) and I think that for once I’d like to get out of the house while the sun is still shining. Not sure what I’ll take on that adventure!

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been MIA lately but the new job has me working hard and not able to check the phone during the day very much. In my free time, I’m researching commuter E bikes because my bus route is getting canceled in May. I’m reading some but just too tired to post lately.

Good to hear from you. That is a bummer they are canceling that bus route. E bike with battery is good for those pesky inclines. How far from work?

Good to hear from you. That is a bummer they are canceling that bus route. E bike with battery is good for those pesky inclines. How far from work? About 15 miles each way and about 900 feet of elevation change. Being a "forum" guy I have been diving into a couple of ebike forums lately and doing my research, and of course I found the ultimate bike brand - Riese and Muller - but while built with top quality construction and components, the prices reflect that as well. I could buy a new Submariner for the price of some of their models. However, I think I've stumbled onto a deal on one that was used for 6 months and is being sold on a forum for almost 1/2 price. Trying to work out final details on the deal and REALLY hope it works out. If I can pull it off, it will be this model in black/silver. electricbikereview.com/riese-muller/supercharger-gx-rohloff-hs/

Holy Toledo, 900 feet elevation change. 30 miles round trip. That's major.

Holy Toledo, 900 feet elevation change. 30 miles round trip. That's major. It’s all relative I guess. I get nearly 1000 ft elevation gain in a 10 mile mtn bike ride from my house. I haven’t done it yet, but I’m feeling like 30 mile rnd trip will be a breeze on the Ebike, and honestly I’m most concerned about dealing with distracted drivers on parts of the route.
