Well, given my obsession for divers and how hard legendary ones are to find I'm seriously considering getting this within a year or so. In fact, I texted the AD owner this morning that sold me my new Planet Ocean Chronograph. He's out of town for the week but we'll touch base next week to see what the numbers look like. Man oh man, how cool would it be if I ended up with a Ploprof? I tried one on many years ago at a Toronto AD and it fits just fine considering what it is. Would like nice in the summer with board shorts and a Polo. Not many eBay listing for these as they seem rare. I want the steel on steel version with the date. Have any of you ever tried one on? I've always looked at this model and known that I don't have the wrist to pull it off, but respect it for what it is.

Baco Noir My biggest regret is not taking a wrist shot with it on like I did for the 9300 Planet Ocean. It was at the same AD but prior to that time. This piece would be more about having it in the collection to appreciate and wear when. I feel like it. Hopefully what you point out means I'll get an even better deal if I do decide to add one of these to the collection! Certainly not a common piece and that's good for many reasons.

priamo I got super excited and searched eBay but then realized you mentioned the auction it will be offered at. All of the decent examples on eBay are on my watch list to track the activity with these pieces. Next week when the AD I got the Planet Ocean Chronograph from is back in town I'll see what he tells me. I don't plan on getting it this year but if several months down the road (end of summer) a crazy deal comes up I could very well have one.
