Got this on a loan, and I put it on a watch garage strap. The factory tropic didn’t fit me.

CHIP very interesting brand! Never heard of it, so had to look it up. The dial reminds me of the Glashutte SeaQ.

CHIP very interesting brand! Never heard of it, so had to look it up. The dial reminds me of the Glashutte SeaQ. That’s exactly why my friend bought it LOL. If you believe their website, this French company has been making this dial and style for half a century. It’s a really cool watch for 400 bucks and since the only people that know what a SeaQ is are watch dorks, you don’t have to worry about people asking about it. Like you would with a Rolex homage for example.
