That’s the nicest Bond Edition I’ve seen it quite some time.

Baco Noir Agreed, as I've been able to see some from years ago in person and they're nothing I would actually want to wear. More so like a keepsake for an avid fan, but this is what's so special about the 2531.80 or any design directly inspired by it. The watch isn't over done and represents design elements very likely more recognizable by the masses than any previous Bond watch (general population today). Extremely versatile, as it's suitable in virtually any setting. However, for me right now if I did have the 10k+ CAD in my watch fund, I would buy a pre-owned 2531.80 and a 2220.80 for the collection instead. Years ago the release of the current 300M Diver prompted me to buy the 2225.80 again for similar reasons. The ceramic wave dial is lovely, but lost that direct connection to the original in my eyes. In addition to this, the conical Helium Escape Valve didn't do it for me. Despite liking this feature on past models, it's appearances in the aforementioned form made me dislike it for the first time. Had it not been for the HEV shape I would likely own one of those today. In many cases I tend to prefer vintage or neo-vintage pieces which inspired the reissue vs. the remake. This isn't always possible though as some might be super rare or priced in the stratosphere, but in this case I would prefer the originals.

I’m not a fan of the conical HEV or the skeletonized hands, but for some reason the design elements on this one seem to work together with the mesh bracelet. And I like that the Bond elements are reserved and not overdone on the front of the watch.

That's the irony of past Bond "Limited editions". They're the antithesis of what the fictional character would actually require, something under the radar, more subtle.
People seem excited for this one, placing orders and saying good things based on what they see thus far.
Have you seen the No Time To Die Titanium watch? I was fortunate enough to see it at an AD, it's SO light (of course). A well done piece, but also not subtle.
I'm not a fan of artificial aging, fauxtina etc, on any watch from any brand, but that's just me.

It was used sparingly and it works for me on that watch, but most others use too much of it.

muckymark - Wow, I didn't realize it did this! By far the coolest, most subtle feature on any limited edition 007 watch they've ever made. Seeing the 2531.80 fourthirds wore yesterday got me thinking about that particular watch even more. The release of this new version enhance my appreciation for it. The 50th anniversary Snoopy Speedmaster has a cool feature on the case back as well. Omega has stepped it up over the years, no doubt.

I don't like bracelets that have no end links IMO they make the watch look cheap and not complete. Otherwise, the watch is nice

For a modern watch, I also prefer having actual end links when it's on a metal bracelet. Someone online made a mock up (via Photoshop) of the same watch with the bracelet on it. A winning combination in my books:

Thanks rw16610, Yes the photoshop bracelet version looks much better Welcome to the forum. It does look good on the bracelet, and I like it on the mesh too.
