fourthirds I can totally see why, they're fun watches. How's the bezel rotation? I'm assuming decently smooth, and the grip looks good. Not sure if this bezel mechanism is the same as yours, but generally speaking.

Oh my goodness, and it has a domed crystal! Sweet watch! I'll have to look around and see if they come up for sale pre-owned, because I love the fact it allows you to enjoy that vintage styling worry free.

Nice! Comes like without being too much of a copy. And it comes with the elaborate ETA 2824 movement.

Here's one of their Metropole collection. Ocean 39 Metropole Sunray Purple. I believe that's a new applied logo version at 12. They've given the Steinhart name a 3 dimensional treatment. Pretty nifty without going over the top. Screw down crown. Drilled lugs.

I’ve been looking for something in this style to replace my Rolex Explorer that I sold a couple of years ago. I also ran across these, smaller in size and price.. The Islanders would probably be close to $450 CDN …

Baco Noir That was my reaction as well, I was happy to learn they're powered by ETA movements! Ease of service for the most part and durable workhorse movements I feel. priamo Wow! That's a lovely sunburst dial, my goodness. It's so unique, I would totally own one of those. In fact, I could potentially see myself with a collection of these one day. muckymark Nice find! Looks like I might not be the only one considering one (or more) of these. Pleasantly surprised, as there isn't much in the watch world that I find appealing now (not already in my collection at least). These however check all the boxes and would be fun daily wear pieces.

These do come up once in a while, there's a facebook group out there dedicated to selling and buying these. Sometimes you get a deal, other times folks think they have gold. New prices have gone up so expect about $400 to $500 US. I have a few of these, let me see if I'll part with something.

aerome Thanks for that information! I'll have to look into this if or when I decide to add one to the collection.
