So my favourite Audemars Piguet model is the "Panda", 26170ST.OO.1000ST.01: Image from prestigetime.com However, a part of me always felt it should be against some sort of watchmaking law to keep that beautiful 22k gold hand engraved rotor covered up with a solid metal case back: Image from Chrono25 The aforementioned drawback has me looking at newer models with the exhibition back: Image from watchclub.com Image from Google The only issue I have is how small the movement looks in the case. I've never been a fan of watches that had a movement displayed where there's an excessive amount of space around it. So much so that even for instances with a solid back I've passed on watches with the aforementioned trait: Image from Google From what I've been seeing on listings, this watch is a 42mm. Now I'm not sure which one to aim for.

The rotor in my AP was gorgeous. For the AP RO OS, that filled the space with the rotor even with the smaller movement. I’d go exhibition caseback because like you said it’s a shame to hide something so beautiful.

When I do pull the trigger on one of these I'll for sure need to get one on the bracelet. Can't imagine buying one with a strap then realizing my preference is for the bracelet. That's me in general though, not much of a strap person.
Doing some research now to see what the full set for these is supposed to include.
