I went to the dallas boutique a few weeks ago and they told me that the aerospace has been discontinued. That made me sad, I’ve always loved that watch and it didn’t make sense to me that they would drop what is such an iconic model to them. Then… this surfaced. Looks like a new aerospace but a complete redesign from a movement perspective, because I see pushers. I like it and I’ll put it on my wish list once I see more dial options.

I love mine but the single crown for all the functions isn’t a plus for my version.

Baco Noir I agree. Aesthetically the crown only approach is a plus, but it’s a pain to actually use. I think they just discontinued the movement and decided to use the one from the other quartz models that have a second hand and pushers. Just remove the second hand for the aerospace. Simplify supply chain, production, and maintenance.

This is such a nice piece! Was never able to justify one, but would like to have one in the collection some day.

I forgot to note earlier that I'm THRILLED this piece has the wings logo, being a true professional model and all.
I'm a huge Breitling fan, but mainly for the "Instruments for Professionals" inspired pieces.
Breitling as a brand has supported history being made with regards to aviation in so many ways.

That's an interesting point! I don't know why, but a part of me always seems to lean towards the previous/discontinued version of Breitling watches.
Although I really like this one, depending on what current pre-owned prices are, it might be a tough decision.
The only solution is to to see this in person and get a better idea of how it actually looks and feels. Man oh man, I need an Aerospace. Hopefully the proprietary screwdriver can be easily found so battery changes can be done by me until it's really time to change the seals.

I changed my own battery a few times, didn’t even know there’s a proprietary screw driver lol.
I guess I learned something today.

I didn't know this or think so until someone in distress so to speak posted on another forum trying to find out where they could get one from. Doing the battery changes yourself is the way to go in my opinion.
