Well, first off - it's not so little but I like it . You know, I nearly bought one of those but the two deal breakers were that I didn't own enough polywatch and I wasn't sure if you could swim in it or not! ;D Do you have a pic showing the dial Hannes? Thanks - Neil.

What is this? was it ever made for sale? or was it the rolex strapped to the submarine in the 70's?? mamas

No they where never produced to be sold - it was just an example of the technical possibilites of it`s time. They strapped it to the "Trieste" to showed that it could withstand the pressure down at 11000 meters.
2 Series were made - first 7 pieces (Afaik) 2nd series 35 pieces.

I remember seeing photos of the Trieste with one of those strapped to it in some old Rolex propaganda. Only remember seeing it straight on,first time I've seen it from the side. Rather cool!! Wonder what it's worth?
