There is a black dialed one that tends to go for less - like $700 to $800 or so. That is with the acrylic crystal - the domed sapphire (like mine) goes for a couple hundred more. The copper dialed Flieger II is another $200 premium or so on top of the black dialed model. So around $1000 for the acrylic and maybe $1200 for the Sapphire. It's a great watch - I am not a chronograph guy at all but this one is not "typical" and that dial is just amazing. The only drawback of this watch is that it's fairly thick but if you are wearing Panerai's etc it probably won't be an issue for you. But compared to the diameter it wears thick I would say.
