Another what should buy? thread! I have sold my Sub LV and can now either buy a BNIN Sea Dweller...or... A Planet Ocean + A De ville Power Reserve...or.... A Breitling Sea Wolf + De Ville Power Reserve? In other words do I go for the more expensive SD but ONLY the SD (possibly saving for a dress watch, which could take forever as things are!) or do I go for another quality diver and a nice dress watch? I already have a nice Tag Carrera "Retro" 1664 39mm so the chrono bits covered. I have fairly slim wrists at 6.5 - 6.75" depending on temperature. Opinions and of course pics welcome Mac.

I voted a PO and a de Ville.
Personally I don't like the new SD. Too much writing on the dial/chapter ring.

At this point Mac, I don't know that I would recommend you buy anything. If it were me, I would buy the SD. But then again, I would have just hung on to the LV.

I voted a PO and a de Ville. Personally I don't like the new SD. Too much writing on the dial/chapter ring. I'm referring to the 16600 not the SDDS. The SDDS would be too bulky for me (as I suspect would be the Sea Wolf!) Sam, I know what you mean but it's all about the fact I should never have parted with my SD last time. That's what started this whole flipping episode off. From then on it spiraled out of control. I'll get a De Ville PR some day but I suspect I'll get another Dweller and keep it (and my Tag) also. I like the SW but I reckon it's too much for me!

I voted PO and Deville. I dont think you will keep the SD, you already sold it once and you didnt like the LV, which is basically the same watch. Seems like you have wanted the Deville for some time, so why not give it and the PO a try

Well I've gone back to a watch I once owned and couldn't be happier with my decision. So I say if you know the SD is the one, go get it. Anything else you try will be a small stopgap , you will continue to want the SD till u get it! That's my opinion!!!
