I get these offerings now and then from Debaufre. From what I can gather they're Steinhart's watches exclusive to Debaufre, probably with some kind of exclusive US distibution deal. Anyway, I needed a new beater for outside of the job and these came up for half price (about what they're really worth). They call them "scratch and dent" and we'll see how "bad" they really are. tinyurl.com/cnhbf3If anyone want's a copy of the email offering, PM me. Al II

As posted on the watchuseek Debaufre forum; My Pepsi GMT arrived today and as far as Scratch & Dents - NONE! It's a beefy animal weighing in at 6.6 oz. to my Rolex GMTII's 4.4 oz., just a bigger piece. Finish is very nice, bracelet is sturdy and clasp great. Bezel turns well on the indents but is a bit loose. An all around good watch, IMO. The insert is a bit off and as we've heard in the forums before, the GMT hand doesn't line up well to any of the numbers. Screws on the bracelet were all loose so I didn't have to scratch it up when removing links. I'll give it a few days and report back on accuracy, but if these or the diver watches come up again as S&D's make the leap and do it quickly. The GMT hand is not set correctly in the pic.
