Hey all--my uncle has two watches that he purchased at a pawn shop sometime in the late 80s/early 90s. Given the economy and the fact that he's a plumber and particularly hard hit, he's looking to find out some more about them in case he decides to sell. A friend recommended this site to me as a good resource to help him out, and I was hoping y'all could provide me with any information you might have about them--year manufactured, model name, approximate value, anything. Thanks so much in advance! Baume & Mercier: serial number 348 134 35095 with "14K" stamped on the back. Patek Phillipe: that's just a guess on my part based on the logo, but I could be totally wrong. No serial number on the back. Just for fun, this is the other watch he has, but I'm guessing this one is only worth the weight of the gold, the Seiko-brand timepiece notwithstanding. And matching ring!

Welcome to WWF!
Tough questions.....first off I'm pretty sure the second one is not a Patek....
With all of them being quartz (I'm assuming so please correct me if that's not right) I can't see any of them being worth a lot of money. Your best bet would be to search completed eBay auctions to see what similar pieces would go for.
Sorry I can't help more than this!
Cheers, Al

Hi, welcome.. the second one definatly not patek phillipe...the first one, if mechanical maybe $1000 usd.. if battery operated thenn maybe $500usd.. as al suggests look on ebay for completed auctions and that will give you an idea of price
