I found this picture somewhere else, but with my watermark removed. Not cool.

Booo!!!! Definitely not cool! I know how you feel. I found some of my images being used in eBay auctions - and, worse, I even found a shot being used in a watch review. Not much you can do about it except use vigilance. I sent all of the abusers polite "cease & desist" emails informing them of the up to $150,000 in damages they could incur per infringement and that I could produce the original digital file, complete with its original meta data, in court and they could not. They removed the images. -Ben

Sucks...but happens all the time. As bad as my pics are, I've found them on eBay and other fora....even a hairy wrist shot of mine. Go figure.

That's just wrong. As lousy as my pics are I've found them being passed off as someone elses watches. The site owner took care of it for me.

I did, and the person apologized to me and removed it right away. She said that she found the picture on a watch forum (TRF) and it already had the watermark removed. Oh well... it's really not the end of the world, but I remember that it took me a while to get that shot just like I wanted it. The more I spend on a pic, the madder I get when I see people stealing it.

Glad she was accomodating. I bet most people just don't know and figure it's on the web so it must be free. I've never seen anyone using my shots so either (a) my shots suck (b) I don't get to many other forums or (c) all of the above.
