Hello all,
I'm very new to watchtalkforums (just joined).
I currently wear a Raymond Weil 5767. Yes, I know, it's a men's watch. I like its classic, neutral, understated appearance. To me, it looks a bit Art Deco. Its size (30mm x 23mm x 5 mm) suits my very small wrist (145mm circumference) and doesn’t catch on my cuff. I love it!
I’m looking for a new sporty watch, and I’m hoping someone might be able to recommend something that meets these criteria:
- Analog with quartz movement.
- Around 35 mm diameter.
- As black as possible (case, face, and strap). Nothing girly, please.
- Tritium illuminated hour hand, minute hand, and all 12 hours.
- Water resistant to at least 100m (200m would be better).
- Tough, durable and reliable.
- Reasonably long battery life.
My budget is $500 USD, but I'm hoping to pay under $300.
I've search the web for several hours without success. The H3 Tactical Lady Commander is the best I've found so far, but it's not perfect (not black enough).
Thanks very much in advance for your help.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
LM
