I have an Elgin Gold Pocket watch that has a gold Chain in a figaro link. The watch has a floral pattern over the front and back of the watch. It has a serial number that is 411581 and says fahys monarch no 1 in the inside of the case. I am hoping to get an idea of age and what an apoximate value of the watch is. The watch still works and I know that it was my wifes Grandfathers watch.

In order to tell you much about the watch, a photo would be needed and also confirmation that the serial number you posted is on the movement and not the case. The movement serial number can provide quite a bit of information if that is what you have listed above.
Generally speaking these watches do not have a lot of value other than sentimental value.
If you confirm the movement serial number I can give you more information.
Cheers, Al
