I think Chip meant: "pretty". Very nice, but it won't make me want it more than my beautiful blue Skyfall AT. How about you, Carl? Seeing it really makes me think that Omega is coming after Rolex, who has a similar looking model.

After seeing all these new models - not in person, of course, except for the GMT - I still like the Skyfall model the best. It's just the right size, and fewest complications is best for the beautiful dial. I doubt that any other AT will make me change my mind about that! Although I always admired the Rolex Day-Date, it still has that Cyclops date at 3 o'clock which, even if I had the money, would be a deal breaker for me. Personally, I don't much care for the Day spelled out on a watch dial, even on this Omega. And I imagine it's going to be 41.5mm. Cheers Carl

I agree with everything you've said, Carl. I've owned one vintage Rolex with the cyclops. It's my sig pic, and I couldn't get used to the look, although these aging eyes could certainly benefit from the feature. I, too, presume that the new Day/Date AT will be the larger size. It seems Omega is very invested in the AT line, with the GMT, DAY/Date, and the specialty color variants of the original (Captain's and Golf). Like you, though, I think they hit a home run with the 3 handed model, especially in the 38mm size. It has become my favorite Omega, bar none.

I love the idea and can't wait to see it in person. I'd LOVE the SS version if it weren't for the PCLs, but the gold version looks pretty dang sexy too.

I have a love/hate relationship with watches that are even accented with rose gold. I think I love them, but when I get them, I start to hate them, and flip them faster than hot cakes..... KAT
