I finally did it with a little help of a glass of wine I signed up for the Eric Kim Street photography workshop in San Diego. I've been wanting to sign up for one of his workshops for such a long time. I always wait to last-minute and then the workshops sells out.
He is a very well known street photographer with lots of experience in teaching his workshops. He teaches in different countries and they all sellout very quickly.

Good for you!
Street photography is something I've always enjoyed but something I've never really had the guts to do.
I can't wait to see your results.

Wow, I'm surprised he was so interactive. I'd have thought that those were more instantaneous / candid moments. I remember when you did some street photos a year or so ago and posted them up - you got some great shots. Looking forward to seeing what you get out of the workshop.

I love this, I never knew there was a name for it, I just thought it was taking random pictures, I do it all the time when I see something cool that I just have to snap a photo of.

That's great Art. Sounds like you'll be learning and having fun doing it.

Here's another interesting street photographer he is very upfront in his candid pictures. I like to be a little more discrete and blended in with the crowd and not attract much attention. He's very basic and developing his black-and-white pictures and his equipment is not very expensive at all.

I've done a bit of street photography last fall and I was nervous the whole time! There was a guy on TRF (TheDude) and he posted some of the most amazing street photos I have ever seen. He was/is a member here as well but he has not posted anywhere in years.
