A bit more info I received from the sell, no papers and the original owner may never even had them since this watch probably was a gift. Neat story, not really the providence I was looking for but cool nonetheless.

Cool story. Glad to see it wasn't the "Nigerian Prince" that sends me all those e-mails needing help with money transfers.

Thanks! Yeah, I think I'll get much more pleasure owning 2 nice pieces. The neet part of this watch-other than being super thin-is the lack of lug holes. I guess because of the thin case and 20mm lug spacing Rolex decided to make it sans holes. Pretty cool, I never even noticed the lack of holes when I was looking at the pictures. Yes Rommel, I think I'm going to keep this one for a bit and see how I like it, maybe it's not for me but I'm going to give it a chance before I commit to selling. The bracelet does blow me away though, check out the prices on 6636 expandable bracelets and you'll pass out, these 75 end links are rare too, I'm willing to bet the end links alone are worth as much as the head, it's a crazy world we live in, and Vintage Rolex collecting is a strange bird. I'll post a ful set of pics and a short review once I get the watch, hopefully early next week. Two seems to be the special number when it comes to these watches Today I was thinking about "what if" it was possible to locate and afford all of the Rolex pieces desired by me and a couple is the way to go. If anything maybe 3 or 4 but that's because they're modern. Vintage can be a different ball game if funds allow This is a win win for you because either you love the watch and keep it or you profit off of it in the near future and use that leverage to get your end all piece Can not wait to see your full review on it by the way!
