The Bond mania never seems to die. Latest to be a victim to it is the Aston Martin DBS. Not that it’s new for Aston to be associated to 007, but this time it’s tags along the Jaeger LeCoultre wristwatch. The car brand is offering this limited edition Jaeger LeCoultre wristwatch for its new DBS that can be used to unlock the car – just like a remote key. So what if you don’t qualify as the next bond hero, you can still use your watch in a true spy style and speed off with confidence. Join the league of Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig by just buying the latest the 510hp flagship. Jaeger boss Jérôme Lambert says the new watch allows you to do away with the keys, and hinted that an even more expensive model is in the works. Until that arrives, buyers will be limited to either the regular grade 5 titanium model or the more exclusive rose-gold edition. The watch costs about $35,000 and the car that it unlocks costs $332,000.

So what you are saying is that if I get my watch stolen my car will follow shortly? Or, in order to steal my car, they take my watch too! Not sure which is worse!

Or, if your watch has to go in for service, you cannot drive your car for a few months. Sounds like a good plan.

If your Aston Martin needs service, you can downgrade to the Jag for a few days.
