My wife showed me this in her newest glossy mag. The photo is of Shayne Warne, the Australian spin bowler (as in Cricket) who has a solid reputation for philandering. Here he is pictured with Jemima Khan who is the ex? wife of former Pakistani fast bowler (as also in Cricket). They are at the Police concert somewhere in England I think. You will see he is displaying a watch which is why I have gone to the trouble of scanning the pic and posting here. Anyone able to identify the make and model? My first thoughts were Panerai, but the crown set up looks different to one's I have seen. Also the second hand appears to have a sword end. So come on guys what is it

Looks like a U-Boat but I might be wrong. When I was in Europe in May, I saw a lot of people with them, and a lot of shops at Gatwick Airport were proudly displaying them in the window.

I'm with Chip....I was going to say a U-Boat as well. Sam I looked at some U Boats on the web. Most of them have a very prominent crown that is at the 9 o'clock end of the case.I'm still unsure what it is.

It looks like it has one of those "canteen style" crowns, where you have to unscrew the cap, and there is a little crown under it. I think U-Boat makes more of those than anyone. Do they have any that have the crown on the right side vs the left?

A U BOAT IT IS NOT. A friend of mine in England has identified the same watch in a shop window there. The watch is a TW STEEL chronograph. If you scroll through this link, you will see the similarities: www.twsteel.com/I haven't heard of this brand before or how long they have been making watches. The .com address would indicate USA? TW Steel has just recently been brought into australia by the AVSTEV Group (Raymond Weil, etc.) They're a japanese movement, big dial look. Nice to look at.... that's about it :-) They've linked themselves with Shane Warne, a pro surfer ( ) and a few other celebs. I think they're planning a big launch in conjunction with one of the Foxtel channels in the coming months here in Australia - Sean

I had the TW Steel rep drop by for a visit today and got to see one in the flesh. They're a BIG, BIG watch. Massive dial and very thick through the case. Japanese movement, assembled in Scandanavia. The other big name they've linked to down here is Lara Bingle... famous for the "Where the bloody hell are ya' " Australia campaign. Google her... you won't be dissapointed - Sean
