and you know who you are! ;D The Purists have just opened a new forum dedicated to the brand. As I don't follow the brand, I don't know how the forum will rate. But just in case... panerai.watchprosite.com/?fi=717

THanks Marc... I got a personal invite yesterday via email. Frankly I'm surprised brand like Panerai would be considered for Purists, but I guess there's some heavy-hitter collectors out there buying them up and want a place to talk panny. But here's the thing... The Panerai community is so small, among collectors and forum whores (who me?) that it begs the question do we need another place for Paneristis? I mean, if you go to Panny's TZ corner, paneristi, WUS, panereh... you see the same guys posting the same things on all the panny forums. Purists may pique the interest of non-panny collectors there, but I think another forum is overkill. You'll see the same guys posting there, the same things they post everywhere else. Sorry.... that turned into a bit of a rant. LOL

I did see that they added that forum. I agree it appears to be a bit of an odd fit when compared to the other watches they have there......but I guess Panerai is going "upscale" to a degree. On the subject of too many forms. Well, you see the same across Rolex forums as well. How many places do we really need to ask if you should remove the hologram, or ask if I can wear my Rolex in the shower? Cross-posting was always seen as a no-no back in the newsgroup days, but it's fairly common now...... Anyway, the Purists has a decidedly different flavour than most other watch forums, although that is changing a bit. I visit there at least 3 times a week anyway, and if you dig you can find incredible information on the technical side of watches there.

Can you wear a Rolex in the Shower? Bwaahaaahaaa.... -Ben
