I think I have a buyer for my PAM 111 if his references check out. He's in Singapore, and I have never shipped a watch overseas. I was hoping some of ya might have recommendations.
Thanks and have a great weekend, Bill

Never shipped there, but get it insured for the value of the watch, just to be safe. UPS should ship there, but will require info stating the material of the watch, confirm it's stainless steel, no precious metals, no ice, no rare animal hides, etc.
DHL is also big in the orient as a courier. I've only received stuff from them from the orient... never sent with them.
Post up on paneristi.com, as there are a few guys from Singapore there, and lots of guys have shipped there too.
Good luck and a tentative congrats, Bill.

Thanks and have a great weekend, Bill Well, Bill, I'm sorry that the buyer for your Panny isn't me, but, such is life. I've shipped a fair number of things overseas, though nothing with a value as high as the Panny. For this I would use USPS Global Express shipping. It gets there pretty fast, the packages don't travel with regular mail, and there is a signature trail. I would probably insure for the full amount, though I understand that the insurance liability ends when the package leaves US airspace. Many overseas buyers also ask if you will lower the value on the US Customs Form to lower or negate them having to pay any import duties. I always refuse and let them know that I'm not interested in falsifying the customs form. I don't know about DHL, but I could prattle on for hours about how much I hate UPS. I've had nothing but bad experiences with them. UPS sucks. -Ben

Wow....stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't think USPS will let you insure for the full value when going to Singapore.....you might want to double-check that. If they will insure for full value, I'd go that route like Ben said. I HATE FedEx and would only use them as a last resort. UPS is probably your best bet if USPS won't do the insurance. I would use them or DHL as long as you can insure the watch for it's full value. Check and double-check the buyer's references. If it were me, I would only take a wire transfer directly to your bank account. That way there is no way he can reverse the funds.
