Cool watch from a great old name! Looks like about $2300 but I can't see any info about the movement.

Longines is certainly trying hard to make a comeback. Looks nice but methinks there isn't enough contrast between teh dial and the ands which could make it difficult to read - assuming we actually use our watches for telling the time.

Not my cup of tea.....sorry. I agree that Longines is making a big effort to become the respected brand it once was. IMO vintage Longines are great and somewhat of a bargain considering the quality.

I'll admit that I am partial to a "beefy" watch, but 47.5 mm is too big for me! I'd also want to do a bit more research to see what "automatic movement" really means if I were you. Is it ETA, Sellita. This particular Longines model doesn't really suit my personal aesthetic tastes, but I believe that Swatch is making a big investment in Longines. My guess is that they are trying to move Omega up the ladder and the plan is to have Longines move into that mid-range luxury slot. You probably can't go wrong with a Longines. -Ben

I just got off the phone with the dealer and I found out that this watch has been on backorder since June of this year, by this particular dealer after it's showing, and they are getting the first shipment of these watches. This watch hasn't been released as of yet. I will have the first one released from a dealer in the U.S. Man, I feel special! They are expecting this watch in by December 1st, maybe earlier. The model number is: L3.665.4.76.2 All I know about the movement that it is a Swiss Automatic Mechanical Jewel Movement and the watch is Swiss Made.

Do they make it with a black bezel? i think that would improve the look.
