The brace is about 4mm but is has cut aways on the sides of the centerlink. About 3.5mm on the edges. The brace even has a diver extension ( who knew).

No pictures, but I have 7750 SS Jacques LeMans that is about 40mm diameter without crown and pushers, and 11mm thick. Bought it on a whim, and am so pleased with the quality, and the accuracy, that I would recommend that brand, in the mechanical versions to anyone. I'm sure their quartz are good also, but no experience with them. It doesn't get the wrist time it deserves these days, as I am so enamored by my latest purchase of the Omega SM GMT white dial, which is also on the winder, as I picked up my 18k early 70's vintage Zodiac "Kingline" Automatic Chronometer from the watchmaker. I normally would not give this a lot of wrist time, as I don't wear gold watches often, but he told me to wear it and watch the timing closely so he could tweak it. So far it is gaining 1 sec per day. If it stays like this, I don't see any tweaking in it's future.
That's the problem with enjoying watches. So many to wear, but only so much time to wear them. Stopped in a food "joint" a couple of weeks ago, and saw a couple with 2 inexpensive watches on each arm with ornate sterling and turquoise bands. While not my taste in bands, made me think that maybe that was the way to go to give them more wrist time. With my stepson and his son over, I put 2 on each wrist, looked in the mirror, and unanimously decided it was most definitely not the way to go. The grandson did grab my OM though. He loves that watch, and when he gets into his teens, whether I am still around or not, it, or one like it, will be his.
There I go, starting on a simple topic and rambling on again. Too bad "Rambler" has already taken that name. BTW Rambler, I love your "Flash" logo. Since it is from "JLU," I will assume it's Wally West, but I miss the always late, when out of costume, Barry Allen.
There I go again!
Cheers.
