I just called Baron & Leeds now at South Coast Plaza and the lady said they still have the same diamond dial platinum Day-Date model from a year ago sitting on the showroom floor.  It goes to show you how popular that platinum model is. Unless people walk in just to look at it and buy at a discount somewhere else like me. |

Just came back from South Coast Plaza. There were no sport models on display at all, no two tones either. I never saw anything like this in all the years I have been visiting South Coast Plaza. Ben Bridge Jewelers are gone too.

fourthirds, I stopped in at the Patek Philippe Tourneau store. I asked the salesman for the Patek Philippe Nautilus model. He said no list and no sales at this time, so I'm just SOL. I guess he looks down at me like a simpleton with my gold Rolex. |

I often wondered how these high end boutiques stay in business with the high rent they pay in this joint. I walked into the Tourbillion Boutique one year and one year later the salesman recognized me. Nobody is ever in most of these stores. |
