WTB:
Hi
I'm looking for a Rolex black GMT nipple dial TT ref. 16753 with Oyster bracelet. Do you have one for sale or know where I can get one. EMail pictures and price to timmai76@gmail.com
Thanks

Thanks! I've had already contacted those you mentioned. Is there a reason why Oyster bracelet isn't common? Would it mean it's more "valuable" hence more expensive than Jubilee? Just think Jubilee looks to "old man" on me and Oyster seems more sturdy and less stretch.

I think the jubilee was just more popular on that model. I don't think value is affected much by the type of bracelet as much as it is with a period correct bracelet.

I prefer the more classic look of the Jubilee and that might be because of my confirmed old man status timmovitz I have had a look around a for TT Oyster Sub bracelets. There are few about and they command very good money. What I had seen on TRF was a listing by Porsche958 for a beautiful nipple dial and bezel insert set that came from a 16758 (story explained in the listing) That set can be used on 16753, like the one that Kirill has on his site. That could be an option. Then in time you could source an Oyster and sell your Jubilee? Just some thoughts.

Thanks for suggestion... Couldn't find the TRF post you mentioned. But seems too comprehensive. Rather just wait for an Oyster. Happy New Year to all
