So this year I had more watch buying/selling action than ever before. This year I sold: Rolex Explorer II Panerai PAM 01B Bought and sold: Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Memovox Bought and still have: Panerai PAM 005 Logo Panerai PAM 210 Seiko Orange Monster Archer PW1 I still have my Black Monster and have two more Archers to arrive in 2008. Crazy year, and that doesn't even include my straps and other OP trinkets. Hope everyone else had a fun 2007. I'm hoping 2008 is less hectic and hopefully later in the year, add another Panny.

2007 was good for me! I'm not a real "flipper" so little changes other than new purchases really. First purchase was one you bought and sold, the Master Compressor Memovox. It was bought in honour of my late mother as money from the estate was used for the purchase - it won't be going anywhere. I'll use this shot again since many seemed to like it. BTW John I think if you had this watch on a rubber strap it would have changed your views a bit. Honestly the rubber strap is fantastic, and really makes this my one "sport" watch. Second purchase was a Sinn 356 Flieger II. The dial is what sold me on this watch. Love that copper colour! That's all that I've bought, but I did make myself two this year..... In terms of what I've sold......not much really. At least not much in the way of watches that I bought to wear as I'm not counting the watches I've made and sold.... The only real sale was this Seiko 5 to my 19 year-old nephew who is fast becoming a WIS. That's it for me - for my wife, we sold her quartz Cartier Must de 21, and bought her first real watch.... 2008 (2009? 2010? 2011?) will be slow I'm sure as I save for my grail. ;D

Ahhhh...where to start LOL! In: PAM 111G Omega 2254.50 (my second one of these....not selling this one! ) IWC Aquatimer Chrono 3719.28 IWC Mark XVI Seiko SKXA35 (yellow diver....my "Amazon special" ) Sea Dweller Y Series Sea Dweller Z Series Omega Aqua Terra (white/blue) Out: Sinn U1 Seiko Spring Drive (went to Chip) PAM 111G Sea Dweller Y Series Wife's DateJust....traded it for some diamond earrings. I think that's it. 2008 should be less busy....but that's what I said this time last year. I'm pretty content where I am. I may sell off a couple of pieces next year. As far as buying.....I'd like to pick up a white Explorer II before the next price increase and either a GO or JLC.

Well, that's not too bad, Sam. I think we all afraid that the server wasn't going to have enough bandwidth to handle your list of incomings. As for me. I did have a very active year. Watches Out: 1. Rolex GMT II 2. Omega Seamaster GMT 3. Marcello C. Nettuno 3 4. Seiko WN-1 5. Steinhart Aircraft 8 6. Alpha Daytona clone (gave it away to someone at work) 7. Alpha Pepsi Can clone (this one broke and I have to say that my 3-pointer into the complex dumpster was very satisfying. I think everyone should fling a watch into the trash at least once. ) But I definitely made up for the watches out with the watches in: -Ben

I wasn't as "busy" this year. LOL! In Omega Seamaster Omega Speedmaster 50th Rolex GMT IIc Rolex Milgauss Out--(kinda) Rolex Explorer II---my son's graduation from college. Most of my effort this year was getting everything up to speed service wise.

Most of my effort this year was getting everything up to speed service wise. That can be more expensive than a single watch purchase with a collection like yours.

No new watches, all old stuff: 1935 Hamilton Webster, 1937 Omega Cal T17, 1945 Omega Suveran, 1953 Omega Cal 266, 1961 Omega Seamaster and 1963 Omega Constellation. You can tell that Mamas had a lot of influence on my collection

OK here goes.... I started off wearing this whilst I waited for my Panerai to come in The logo arrived And I found it hard to wear, uncomfortable so I traded it on this one PAM 48 Launch Mini sold me his Air-King cant find a photo in photobucket Then I picked up a Submariner T dial 14060 In came the 112, I got to see this one before actually buying it.. it came in and I fell in LOVE.. found it better to wear too So then I managed to talk the dealer into trading the fiver back on the 48 and I sold the fiver and kept the 112! Confused yet? Sold the Submariner. Got this - then sold it, most uncomfortable watch I've tried so far Got this still have it... love it Also got this Confused? I am.. in fact I almost feel embarrassed at the watch shannigans I've been thru this year.. I just want to chill with what I have for 2008... Hope you enjoyed my watch ride......
