Hey Guys
I apologize for not being around for a long while. As some of you know, I have had some medical challenges during this summer. Well… let’s just say that it was not the best year for us. It seems like my wife and I took turns throughout the second half of the year, visiting numerous medical “facilities” in our area. We now know that Murphy’s Law is a proven fact… it things can go wrong, they probably will… But, in spite of all those challenges, we still feel lucky. We are thankful that we are now able to look back and joke with each other. Things could be a lot worse.
Now, instead of boring you with the sappy stuff, let me share with you a brief horological history (!) that I have had since my last post. Here are some of the pieces I caught and released.
Bell & Ross Instrument Watch Limited Edition
Oris Flight Timer 1945 Limited Edition
Omega Planet Ocean
Aerospace Avantage
Out of all these, Planet Ocean was my favorite. It sure was an impressive timepiece. I wouldn’t mind keeping it at all but I had to sell it.
Now, here is the latest acquisition…
Limited Edition Breitling “Blacksteel” Skyland
It is one wicked piece… all black, big, and heavy. Very nice, indeed.
Anyhow… it is nice to be back. I will be leaving the country for about a month next week. I'll make sure to check back after I return. Let me just wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Best regards…
Altan
