...and found this pic on another forum. It's one of Jurgen's pilot straps. I believe this one is made from leather from a US WWII jacket. Think I'm going to order one....just need to get home and figure out what length.

I like the strap but I was never able to warm up to those round metal thingies.

I agree.. they suit a pilot very very well but seeing them on any other kind of watch, well... they dont work as well. The one above on the IWC looks great I think

I think that strap looks great! I've always liked the rivets. It not only adds visual interest but is also historically correct to the flieger style. -Ben
