What do you consider low to mid priced, dollar-wise?? That's a very valid question. To me, low to mid priced would be 500 to 1500. To Bill Gates, mid priced might be 100.000 dollars. Fortunately, there are TONS of great watches in (what I consider) low to mid priced range, so you should be able to find what you are looking for. Welcome to WWF.

Hi everyone,
My reference for low - mid priced is USD500 - USD1000
There are so many brands out there in the market. I saw some mid range brands like Louis Erard, Tissot but wonder it is worth to collect???

I would say Oris is a great buy in that price range. They have a good selection of dress and sport watches at that price point.
Hamilton is also a good bet for a nice mechanical too.

I think Oris and Hamilton are great starting points. I would also check out Sinn and Stowa, both have some very nice watches under the 1k mark
